I am nearsighted. I use my glasses for distance. So if I want to read, I must remove my glasses. To drive I need them. This makes summer a little challenging. I wear my prescription sun glasses and regular glasses indoors. The Hang 2 is perfect for me to easily switch glasses.

The design is very clever. You have a conventional neck strap for glasses, with an extra pair of glasses stem sleeves that connect magnetically to the neck strap. This lets you use the device either for a single pair or for two pairs, as needed. The magnets are very strong and the design is good but with one major fault. The plastic that houses the magnets is very brittle. Because the magnets are so strong, it is thus relatively easy to break the plastic housing around the magnets. I did this to the first set within 3 weeks and could not fix it, so sent them back and got a replacement set. I put a hairline crack in one of the magnet housings on that set again within 3 weeks, despite using extra caution. Fortunately this time I knew what to expect and was able to fix them with a bit of Super Glue. And the damage is generally repairable, which is why I am not giving a lower rating. However, if they would use a stronger plastic to house the magnetic discs, I would happily give a 4 or 5 star rating.

I think these are probably really intended for eyeglasses and sunglasses. Unfortunately, I am unable to use progressive lenses so I have reading glasses and I have glasses for distance. It was such a pain trying to flip back-and-forth and I was always looking for the pair I needed for what I was doing. I googled to see if there was something out there and came upon these, I feel like I look silly with it on, but I really don’t care. I have both pairs of glasses at all times and it is working great for me.

The straps are not long enough - the person this was purchased for is 4’11” and has a tiny frame - the glasses almost strangle her and do not hang down

If you're a very small person then the straps are probably all right. I'm 6-2 and they're just way too short and not adjustable. On the 10th day of use one of the four magnets it requires to work properly just disappeared. The design is actually reasonably clever but the execution is crap. If it hadn't gone non-functional I would probably have given it a four because it does work, just not as conveniently as one would like. I would imagine that it can't be made adjustable because of the fundamental nature of its design. If that's true, then it would have been considerate of the sellers/makers to offer it in multiple strap lengths accordingly.

Don't know if I can explain this clearly but ... The way they put the magnetic disconnect points with one on each of the 2 cords lets you adjust the relative lengths of each pair of glasses to a different length. I wanted my sunglasses to be able to disconnect, then the reading glasses on a shorter cord closer to my neck (see 1st photo). That could be achieved simply by pulling on the cords of the sunglasses to make them longer which made the reader cords shorter. In the 2nd photo you can see I easily reversed them if I ever wanted to. This can very easily be done while on your neck by pulling on the pair of glasses you want the longest. Pretty clever design. If the 2 magnetic points were on the same cord, each of the 2 cords would be the same length and not adjustable. Now I just have to convince myself that I like the idea of 2 glasses hanging all the time ... although the disconnect feature should help.

Great for wearing prescription sunglasses & regular glasses ; I no longer have to stop and swap glasses between my head and a case when entering a building.I meant to buy the Loop type, but somehow managed to buy the Sleeve (d'oh!). The sleeve-type keeps the strap out of your face, but it makes the glasses harder to put on, especially if you're wearing a cap/hat. So, I ordered another pair with the loop.

It works for some of my glasses mostly metal frames but not any of my plastic/acetate frames. But it's still a good product.
