What makes Hansa Toys different from their competitors is the quality and pin point accuracy of specific animal characteristics that are used in each production. Artists create each Hansa animal from portraits of the creature in its natural habitat. Most fabrics are custom designed and exclusively manufactured to Hansa's exacting specifications. The animal's coats are meticulously hand-cut and trimmed, never stamped out by machine. The animals are hand sewn inside out, resulting in the minimization of seams. This development of an exceptional internal stitching method allows the Hansa artisans create effects like muscle tone and features unique to each creature. On average, there are 42 separate pieces required to make each animal. (Some animals have as many as 240 different parts!) The subtle coloring on the animals is hand painted or airbrushed by specially trained Hansa artisans. Each animal is hand finished with loving detail to give them the life like look yet sweet face and cuddly feel that is unmistakably Hansa. Hansa'S goal is to help educate children and adults alike, about the natural lives of these magnificent creatures; to understand, respect and appreciate the importance of our co-existence with all animals. Each animal comes with a Toys that Teach tag describing in detail the animal's habitat, lifestyle, gestation period, care of their young and eating habits. Suitable for ages 3 years old and up.

I purchased two of these plush ducks for my daughters for Easter. I ordered them a few days before Easter and paid for overnight delivery. Unfortunately, the ducks didn't show up until after Easter, so all that extra money spent on overnight shipping was for naught. Otherwise, the ducks themselves are great. The quality is excellent.

Very lifelike, super soft. I bought it as a gift for a child and kind of wanted to keep the adorable thing for myself! Not sure what I would do with it, so I'm glad I stuck with the original plan. :)

It was cute and I was able to blend it in with the other small stuffed animals I used for Easter photos (I refuse to buy real baby chicks/ducks just for a photo) but this looked like a blend between a duck & a chicken to me, personally. It's cute, very soft, but it really depends on what you are using it for.

This sweet little duck is just the right size and look for a small child. We bought it for our 2 year old grand daughter who is obsessed with "quack-quacks". This toy is soft and well made. It is simple without bells and whistles (just what we were looking for).It came very quickly and well packaged.
