After original 15 year hose snapped at collar, ordered this and received in 2 days...a perfect replacement.

After several years of limited use in a guest bathroom, this hose, like many others reported, failed. The hose comes out of the crimped endpiece and is not fixable. We are going to look for a different hose replacement. It's too bad because it looks nice and worked fine while it did, but is too expensive for a "disposable" item.

After less than two years, the press fitting on one end of the hose failed and the hose popped out. I have now replaced it with a Moen brand metal hose that appears to be of much higher quality.

This replacement hose fits perfectly and works well. I have had mine now for more than a year with no issues at all.

Just installed a new Hansgrohe wallbar slider, hand-held shower wand, and hose. The hose is a bit stiff out of the box but looks much better than the old segmented metal hose we had. I suspect that after some serious hot water runs through the hose it will relax a bit. Hmmmm, a shower sounds nice, about now!Easy install. Used two washers on the input end. Taped the threads on that end and tightened it up with a thick piece of paper towel in the jaws of channel locks. Didn't bugger up the end of the hose and tightened up with no leaks. Love Hansgrohe products.

Nice to know you can still get replacement parts for an older shower.Let the hose hang straight down for a day or two to get the curl out.It has improved connectors that turn more easily.

1. Seems much more durable that the braided hose it is replacing. I don't have the experience of the other reviewer (I just received it), but it does appear that it is built to last.2. MUCH more attractive than the old hose.3. I wish it was a foot longer, and I would have been happy to pay more for the extra length. The "normal" length for shower handle hoses appears to be 69". This one is 63". I'd like one that is about 80". But I didn't downgrade it as the length is clearly stated in the description. If you can't deal with the shorter length, buy something else.4. Toss a rag over the drain before bringing the hose in the shower to install. The o-rings can escape.Overall, a nice buy and roughly 1/2 the price that I would have paid at a home center for an inferior product.
