Installation:
Insall the lens hood and lock ring to your lens, keep lens hood horizontality and adjust the lock ring until tight

First off, I'm aware the hood is for a 35mm lens but I wanted to use it on a Leica D-Lux 8. It installed easily and after a little time aligning the hood, it fit fine. If you're like me and using it for the D-Lux 7 or 8, you will get a little vignetting at 24mm wide angle, It's not really bad but you will see the corners of your images darkened by the hood. This is the only reason why I didn't give it 5-stars. That said, it's a great hood for it's function and for aesthetics.

カメラ（LEICA D-LUX7）に直付けではケラレは発生しませんが、薄型フィルタを付けての使用では四隅にケラレが発生したので、デザイン的には好みですが、返品とさせて頂きました。ちなみに、以前より使用中の丸型フードではケラレは発生しませんが本品より薄型でした（遮光性能は弱いでしょうが）。

Not as advertised. They’ve stated that it comes with a “metal cap” in three separate places. Mine only came with the hood. It’s pretty disappointing that I’ll have to remove the hood anytime I want to fully protect my lens. The hood itself is fine, but you’re better off finding a hood that comes with a cap.

I own a number of Haoge lens hoods. They're very well made and never disappoint, which is why I'm surprised by this design. Rectangular lens hoods require a cutout for the upper left corner, or else you get significant viewfinder blockage. Of the three rectangular lens hoods I own from Haoge, this is the only one without a cutout. Not sure why. Almost 5 Stars.

The photos show WHAT this is. I'll add that it is very well done, good materials and design. In particular, has a nice way of fixing the hood in the right orientation in front of your lens. Perfect for the 7-Artisans 35mm f/2.0 lens on Sony APS bodies.

Very high quality build and it fits my Voightlander 40 mm. I took a gamble on this one and really love what I got it feels high end and the screw adjustment dial it has works perfectly. If you're looking for a 43mm hood this is perfect.

Expensive for what it is but well made fits perfect and does a professional job, I bought this for a Leica and it looks at home with its surroundingsPrecision made. Slight vignetting at extreams on wide angle but not a problem for me. Nice lens hood very happy with the purchase.
