Perfect for a Voigtlander 35 f/1.5 on a Leica or comparable rangefinder. The port in the upper left corner allows for a less obstructed view through the finder. The interior of the shade is a nice matte black preventing reflections and glare.

The other reviews must have gotten an older version because mine fits perfectly and with a UV filter on first. Fits like a glove and well made just like the one I have on my 50mm 1.5.

This is a great little hood if you're inclined to put ones on your lenses. I'm using this with my voigtlander nokton 35mm and it works quite well. No vignetting, easy attachment and removal, great material. I'll have to keep my eye on more items from Haoge.

Haoge metal hoods have always been of excellent quality — I have used them on many of my Fuji and Voigtlander lenses in the past. The bayonet style hood clips on and is held on strong with metal "springs", and will not come loose or turn unless you are deliberately trying to remove it.However, as others have mentioned, it will _not_ work with most filters — I have tried B+W slim, Breakthrough Photography and Urth 39mm filters on my 28mm Ultron II; the hood will not fit over any of them. Even with a different order of operations — attaching the hood, and trying to thread on a filter has not worked for me with any of the above brands. There is minimal viewfinder blockage and the hole in the hood helps a bit with seeing the corner of the frame.Unfortunately, I use my 28mm Ultron primarily on my M10 Monochrom and am often using color filters, so this hood will not work for my use and will be going back.Thankfully the Ultron 28mm II has excellent control over flare, so a hood is mostly unnecessary which works out even better for framing as the Voigtlander 28 II has _very little_ viewfinder blockage without a hood.4 Stars for fit and quality — As good as the hood is, I would pass on it if you plan to use it on the 28 Ultron; the only reason one would want this is for either (a) looks, or (b) you don't use clear filters, and would rather have a hood for that little extra protection.
