I love this adorable happy birthday hat but this party hat is surprisingly small. Not sure why it’s advertised for large and medium dogs!? No chance. This tiny party hat is about the size of two Barbie doll heads or two quarters. It looks tiny on my 7 pound miniature dachshund and she wears an extra small. So to have a party hat listed as fits medium and large and a profile photo showing it on a golden retriever, but in real life, have it teeny tiny would probably be disappointing to some. I lucked out that my dog is miniature teacup size and it fits all right on her. Not sure why such an itty-bitty party hat has a 3 foot long string. The proportions are off, the quality is terrible, and this all around needs improvement, but it got the job done for the 10 seconds I needed it to for a photo. But I can’t recommend this to anyone else be wear of the Barbie doll sized hat with the weird 3 foot long string to fascinated around your dogs neck that was actually longer than the entire length of my dog. The stickers don’t stick on the hat well because of the rough paper texture of the party hat, but it is a nice touch to customize your paper party hat with stick on numbers.All in all this is a gimmick product meant to last 20 second for the cheap price, getting cheap quality and a teeny tiny hat if you’re okay with all of that then go for it otherwise buyer beware.

My dog's birthday is coming up and it's a special one, so I decided to torture her by making her wear things. I got this set on a whim and I'm pretty impressed! The bandana and hat are both made from sturdy material. The hat has an adjustable chin strap and it's easy to place the numbers on it. The hat would be very small on larger dogs, but that could still be cute. I'll try to remember to follow up with a picture of the birthday girl wearing her hat and bandana.
