Only down side is that the bolt is 5/8" rather than the 3/4" of everything else I have for 1/2-20.They look nice and do the job.

I ordered these because I couldn't find them locally. They seem to be fairly soft metal and the zinc coating comes off easily. At $4 each, they are also more than twice the price compared to the 1/2 13 couplings available elsewhere. But they did the job for me and they came quickly.

Super thin wall. Not even close to a standard nut. I wouldn’t trust it to couple two pieces of 1/2” together.
