These nails are not brass. Just a few taps and the color easily comes off the heads. Not worth the price I paid. Definitely not happy with this purchase.

Rustic and cool but a bit of a small head

These tacks are real brass and have a beautiful aged look. I have no complaints about the tacks themselves. The cost however... I needed aged brass tacks and I needed them quickly. I couldn't find them locally so I bought these. Fair enough. I gladly paid for the convenience on short notice.Just be aware: These aged finish tacks come in at about 0.13 cents each. Normal bright brass tacks from my local hardware store are 0.03 cents each. I would probably use these regularly if they were about .06 cents each.

Have a collection of Asian antique chests purchased in the 1960s and mostly 50-100 years old at that time. Some of the old brass nails have loosened or fallen out over the years, and these, at last, are very close in head size and color to the originals--albeit w/o the patina.
