These needles are made out of flex steel. They don't hold shape. The slightest pressure on the needle and it bends and straightens. They are no good for upholstering furniture.

I purchased 50 pcs of 2.5 needles. The box contained only 46 needles. 4 of those needles are unusable because they are broken and the other one is 3.5.
