Unlike the cheap knock offs, this one actually fit my 2008 V-Rod and worked as it should. Initially I bought a knock off but it would not fit because the port spacing was wrong. This one was an exact copy of the OEM unit and works.

I got a 16 Harley vrod nrs. The check engine and battery light came on, I order this and it was the exact replacement I needed, plugged it in and the lights went off and my battery is charging and working like it should. Worth the extra coin
