These are great but I can see how they would be way too big for a newborn. They fit my 14lbs 3 month old with some room to grow.

The newborn size is a bit big on my newborn, but I love that. It means it’ll probably last a lot longer. I’m guessing at least a couple months maybe 3. The sleeves are a bit long, I just roll them up. I like the neck sizing is generous so you don’t have to worry about trying to squeeze their head in. They would be perfect if they were knotted gowns instead of elastic so they wouldn’t ride up, but these are cute and good quality; nothing a swaddle or a pair of booties won’t fix.
