Aside from my luck of wind picking up every time I try to set it up and getting dragged around it's a great product, even the awning stayed up during a wind storm.

This tent is not waterproof. We put a tarp of the bottom and set up the tent with the canopy. The first day it was a light on and off rain for 2 hours and all 4 side from the seams the little water particles were coming in, we had to put towels down . At night it rained for about 2 more hours and the whole bottom that attaches to the car had water just puddling under . This tent isn’t worth the $200 it’s not even waterproof. I advise not to buy it . I can’t even return this and it’s a waste of money .

We used the tent to hook up to a Honda mini van. For the most part it worked well. Does not do well in full rain. The rain canopy didn’t fully cover the entire tent. However it did well as shelter. I recommend placing a tarp (20x20)at the bottom. It takes a bit of trial and error to get it just right for set up. Be aware that water does pool up where the vehicle and tent meet. A bungie cord pulling it up over the rear bumper prevents much of the issues. Tent poles feel cheap so be gentle.

Really, really like: Very spacious especially when connected to vehicle. I was able to put a 60×24 table and 2 camp cots. Bottom is strong. It didn't tear either. Mesh inserts keeps bugs out and provides good ventilation. There's a hook to hang lantern to illuminate tent.Like somewhat: Easy to set-up once you figure it out as directions are not great. It will be easier your second time using this tent. Connecting to vehicle is easy, although if your vehicle doesn't have traditional door handles you have to get creative with all the strings.Didn't like: It is not as waterproof as it says. You will need a tarp if there's a sustained rainstorm. Bottom of tent is watertight so I wished there was a drain valve or something. I had 1.5 inches of water to remove after storm, I had to finnagle it to empty the water so I wouldn't have to take it down completely just to empty the water. It will hold up to windy conditions when connected to vehicle but not as much when using as a stand alone. Sometimes the support connectors come away from each other. It not very easy to reconnect when tent is up.

(First to review!! hehe)After learning last year that I am not an outdoorsy person (at least when it comes to sleeping), I was resolved to find a solution which would allow me to enjoy the benefits of both car camping and tent camping. And after several weeks of procrastination, this thing arrived in a compact little box just in time for a festival that I just came back from this past weekend.I was able to set the whole thing up by myself in about 45 minutes, but it could go quicker once you understand how it sets up. It comes with paper instructions which only show pictures... but it's enough for you to "figure it out".I was camping by myself so I didn't need the extra space, but MY GOODNESS, it was perfect. You can configure it to attach to your car with two entrances, or camp standalone with three. the openings of the tent are double-zippered to let you open the entrances completely, or to just open them up to allow a nice breeze to pass through!There's a little hook on the roof of the inside of the tent for you to hang a light.What really changed the game for me was being able to stand up inside my tent. I could go from the coziness of my car, into the safety of my tent, and I could easily change clothes, do some morning yoga, and whatever else. It can definitely fit 6 people, but works for individuals too.It didn't rain when I used it but the bottom part is waterproof, with a "rising edge" of the waterproof that comes up about 2 inches. considering how last year I paid almost $200 for a tiny Stormbreak 2 tent with no waterproof tarp included, I'd consider this thing to be a great deal.

I got this with my boyfriend so we could go camping for the first time together, and as first time campers in a while, we were able to set it up together relatively quickly. So I’d say it’s pretty beginner friendly so long as you have someone to help you set it up. It came with everything that was needed, had no issues setting it up. Inside is very spacious, and it conveniently connects to the back of the car with no gaps left for bugs, which is a big thing for me bc I hate bugs. It helped that we had bug spray, bracelets, and citronella candles during this trip. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice spacious suv tent with a canopy, seriously, really good value. We had our doubts bc at the time of buying there weren’t any reviews as it was a new product but we were very pleasantly surprised that it was a great tent. Also, it was super windy at times during our trip and the canopy stayed hold and didn’t collapse. Had a great camping trip with it. 👍Update: went on another camping trip with it and was able to set up twice as fast :)

I went camping for a week with this tent and it leaked a lot and was not super tight around the part where the car goes. It let a lot of mosquitoes in. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because it wasn’t too hard to put up. But the material is cheap. Wouldn’t recommend.
