I recently bought an expensive leather hat that was just a little small so I purchased this hat stretcher. It was easy to use and with a little steam and the stretcher my hat fits great! The product was in great shape and was delivered in a timely manner!

Stretcher works as expected. However, when mine arrived one side of the turnbuckle was seized and the other stiff. I had to take pliers and break them loose. When I did, I noticed how rusty it was. Had to chase the threads on both the turnbuckle and the all thread rod. Since I was fixing it already. I went ahead and epoxied the all thread to the wood and lubed the turnbuckle. That way neither side just spins in the wood hole.

Finding a hat that fits well can be difficult if you have a large cranium like I do. The headwear stretcher is useful in this situation. Recently, I invested in one of these useful items, and my headwear collection has never been the same.Simply insert the stretcher into the headwear and tighten it up to your desired fit to use it. You don't have to be concerned about the wooden construction breaking or wearing out over time because it is strong and well built.There is one consideration, though: if the cap is adjustable. When using the stretcher, if you are not cautious, you could snap the strap on the adjustment cap. I was very upset when I made this error with one of my hats. So, if you're using an adjustable attachment, proceed slowly and with additional caution.In conclusion, I heartily endorse the hat stretcher to anyone seeking a comfortable hat. You'll be safe as long as you watch out for the adjustable hats.

Nice quality, but sized to fit women or men with small heads. If you've ever worn a larger or XL hat... Keep looking.
