While it is disappointing this is kind of a one and done toy, and the little figurine is tiny, it kept my 3 year olds entered for about 10 minutes and they loved it. So I'm glad I got them and got a good deal.

These are alright. These kind of remind me of bath bombs with the small surprise toy inside. I would say the hatching part of this is what makes this toy a bit more unique and different from a bath bomb, and what warrants the price tag. That said, I feel like the toy you get is a bit useless, it is just a small figurine. It is slightly cuter and of better quality than what my toddler gets from his bath bombs but it is going to be another one of those toys that disappears under the couch or the cushions. Be ready to find these in random places at home after a year or two when you are spring cleaning. I personally feel that the big Hatchimals (stuffed animal toy) are a bit more worth it, although pricey, but more value in the sense that it isn't almost immediately going into the recycle bin. Good to get once type of toy because the "hatching" part is cool but I personally would not get this again.

It's really cool, super exciting, and very cute. Not sure what else to say, it does what hatchimals do, the water thing is pretty cool, but becareful not to put to much water in it as it will over flow. But not enough water and it doesn't work as well.

I've never seen these before and was totally surprised when the plastic egg actually hatched. My toddler had so much fun with the experience! I don't know how they do it, but it's quite clever and cute to see the little toys inside pop out. The toys themselves are so tiny though. I have to hide them from my youngest as they are choking hazards. While this is a pretty fun and exciting toy, it's a one time experience and you're left with some very small plastic toys. My oldest can only play with them when baby is sleeping. Very conflicted about the value but then again, if you get this for just the experience then set your expectations appropriately.
