Unlike typical snow "blankets" this is simply a perfectly cut rectangle with a stiff backing, lights in straight lines in the middle, and cloth covering on top. It does not look like fake snow should look! Design is too rigid. Worst of all, there is no timer for the lights! The lights are always on or off; totally useless and cheap. I mean how hard is it to add a helpful timer to the lights?!? My new set of two of these blankets have already been donated and very nearly were just thrown in the trash. Stick with usual snow blanket options and just add your own lights

I really like the effect it gave my Christmas decoration however beware of the cover to the battery pack as it comes off easily. I had to tape the cover to keep it from falling off. This is the only reading I gave it a three star.

I got this for my wife and her Christmas village. She is always looking to update her village every year. And when I saw this I knew this would be perfect. She is always looking for a way to make her miniature village look like it is in a snow covered field. And this is going to be perfect. This is a great find and the best part, I look like a hero before the holiday season.
