Works fine, doesn't feel any different than OEM. Install not bad.I refurbished a 2018 MBA13 and a 2018 MBP13.. lots of new parts... trackpad included.This review is for the 2018 MBP13 version. Also, oddly, this unit is larger yet cheaper than the MBA unit.It functions as per the original; I cannot tell the difference. Quality is typical of non-OEM aftermarket parts: functionally identical to original but internal fit and finish is not quite at the same level; that said, there are no problems with it's install: everything fits and operates as it should.I use the www.ifixit.com guides; they are consistently very good how-to guides for these replacement operations.Recommended.
