Put this on in the fall, havent pulled a heavy load in the heat until this year. Couldnt run AC while towing, never really heard fan engage. Even at idle the fan doesnt engage which causes high AC pressure which can damage the compressor. Less than 5000 miles on this fan clutch. Gonna scrap it and go buy a Mopar fan clutch.

Replaced my bad OEM fan clutch with this, it was a direct bolt-on replacement and it has been working great so far. Draws lots of air when fully locked in, and you can clearly hear when it's working.No more overheating. Recommended!

It does what it should. A/c works better and u can hear this when it couple's. Truck never gets over 190 now even pulling 14k.

Bought this and installed due to last one failing. Stays locked constantly unless you’re over 2800rpm for a while. Can hear it at highway speeds and fuel mileage dropped significantly. Unnecessary.

I moved to Nevada where summer temps are always 105. The 12v Cummins 5.9 was always running hot and the old fan clutch wouldn’t kick in till temp gauge was in the red. Put this one on and it pushes a lot of air - so much that it drowns out the sound of the engine sometimes. Since installing this, temp gauge has never been past the half way point, even towing through the desert up hill at full throttle.Update - after about 1 year the fan clutch has lost some of its strength. Still keeps the truck cool unless I’m climbing a grade over 9% for several miles at full throttle.

My fan clutch on my second gen Dodge Ram Cummins was completely locked up so I ordered this one. It took a little time to do it but the part fit correctly and works as it should. Would purchase another when needed

I can see why the others didn't like this fan clutch, but if you live in Arizona like myself and experience 120+ degree days, this is just what the doctor ordered. Installed it on a 1995 Dodge Cummins 4x4. Fit perfect and it moves some air let me tell you. I'm less concerned with losing a couple miles per gallon than I am with my truck being adequately cooled. This really helped my old 12 valve a LOT when I'm in an endless sea of stop and go red lights and the pavement is hot enough to fry an egg on. I'm very happy with the purchase and I will return after the summer with a follow-up report on how this thing has worked in the hottest place in North America.
