Perfect fit came with everything needed to install including now bolts and lock washers just make sure to put on some blue lock tight on the threads of the water pump I did not and fan spun off and destroyed my radiator hopefully this helps others not lose $500

Perfect fit. Used for a 6.9 IDI ford install. Worked great, functions like original. Just be prepared if you have an oem unit with studs. You'll need new 5/16-18 3/4 inch bolts and split washers!

I am specifically reviewing the 2830 fan clutch that I put on my 1985 F250 with the 6.9 IDI diesel engine. Heavy duty fan clutches for trucks this big are usually pretty pricey. This one installed without a hitch, and my temperature gauge is staying very steady. I have nothing to complain about. My old truck gets a lot of use going low speed up a steep mountain where I live, requiring it to engage very effectively at low RPM and high engine heat output.Before I replaced the fan clutch, turning the the air conditioning on would actually make my truck run cooler by locking the fan on at stop lights and going up hill. Now rain or shine, snowy or cold, my temp gauge really maintains a good steady range.

Works like a charm. Happy to have a working fan clutch again. 1985 F250 6.9 IH. April 2015.New assessment. October 2017. The fan clutch failed and seized up. It failed in such a way to cause the fan to be stuck at an angle. Causing a terrible vibration that could be felt.
