I installed these fittings on the top transmission line on the radiator of my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII which is the return side. Transmission feeds the radiator, radiator feeds a large oil cooler, then returns to the transmission. These fitting made it possible for me to use the existing transmission line (no cutting of factory line required) and also keep the radiator in the cooling circuit. Well made, strong material.

Only one of the fittings works, the one that goes in the radiator. The hole diameter of the one that goes on the cooling line is too small for the line fitting to go into it. This was supposed to fit on a 1995 mercury grand marquis.
