Covers lots of Nissan Frontier repair possibilities. I am able to do small repairs and servicing jobs on my truck, using this as a reference.

When you can't access any YouTube videos, the book is handy. Capacities, specification, and part numbers for bulbs and fuses are handy. It's got pictures but I do wish they were in color. Color would probably drive the price for the book through the roof though.

I wouldn't expect every detail in a manual like this but it's definitely worth the 20 bucks, it's very detailed in regards to tune up and maintanence, It explains basically how to do most everything, again I don't think every single detail is in the book but as someone wo doesn't trust mechanics and wants to do it myself I know I will learn an descent amount of mechanical knowledge from the Haynes manual and what isn't there I can easily supplement from tje interwebs.

The text was far too expensive and compared to earlier “manuals” did nor supply enough detailed information and illustrations to meet my needs for the type of repair I needed for replacement of a fully automated door/window/lock assembly.

Sold my Silverado and bought a Frontier. Big change and new take on mechanical issues going from Chevrolet to Nissan so I needed a source of data for making minor repairs to my new to me 2013 Frontier. I think Haynes may be better for foreign vehicles than the other brand of service manuals so I went with it. It has furnished all the data I have asked for thus far and I am happy with the purchase.

The book tries to cover too many different models and with subtle changes year-to-year, the poor quality photos can be irritating. I found that Youtube provided better perspective. It seems that the manuals I have bought are right at home in the 70's and are produced in the old school way. There is no reason to use low grade paper and black & white photos. The constant use of a pick-up truck and the SUV is off putting, because there are big differences between the two wheel drive and 4 wheel Pro Xterra. Just remember, no repair is simple on a Nissan, they love fasteners and did not design the Xterra with maintenance in mind, at least DIY maintenance. Remember to take pictures during repairs to avoid homeless bolts and you will be happier.

An INVALUABLE RESOURCE! I bought this as a resource to have on hand, and I've used it numerous times! Even if you don't do the repair work yourself, the troubleshooting steps, descriptions, and parts information is invaluable for saving you time and money! I am not a super mechanically inclined person, and I found it easy to use and understand!I highly recommend this, or any Haynes Repair Manual, be part of your reference library!
