Material bleeds right thru. Not sms or anything like that. Dust, it would keep dust out I would imagine. Probably not

I recently (Nov 2024) purchased this item and used it for lawn work . It did shield some of the water but some water bled through and my jeans were damp when I finished . I have it 4 stars because they do call it light duty
