Not a 3.8gallon. Got it back from the Body shop yesterday. Installed it and went for a ride. I drove until the low fuel light came on. Drove another 12 miles until I found a gas station. Stopped at a gas station and it only took 2.3gallons. I find it hard to believe that it has a 1.5gallon reserve. This is on a Sportster 48.

The overflow tube is on the opposite side of my 2022 sportster but that was just a matter of buying a couple extra feet of fuel hose.The tank had some very minor cosmetic problems that were easy to take care of. It fit perfectly like the old tank and really extended my ride time between gas stations
