This gadget even though little in size works pretty well. It came with a power cord which hooks up to a USB Power outlet and can be used to split the signal to two different HDMI outputs.I hooked it up to a projector and a TV and both worked flawlessly - no complaints. You do need your own USB power source however, so be prepared.

This worked perfectly for splitting the signal and displaying the same image on two different displays.

It was much smaller than expected but worked perfectly for splitting my CCTV NVR footage into multiple rooms. I plugged my NVR into this device and ran cables to various TV monitors. This works perfectly for splitting the video from one NVR or DVR into multiple locations. The video will be displayed on up to four monitors or TVs with available HDMI inputs. I only used three outputs, but the device will work with 1 to 4 total HDMI devices.

This splitter works to take 1 HDMI output and route it to multiple screens. The mini USB cable is needed to power the adapter, so you have to plug in the mini usb, the HDMI input, and then your output cables. It's really nice to run a signal to multiple screens, monitors etc. You can also run both a screen and an HDMI projector off the same signal. Just make sure you plug in the usb power supply, It won't work without it.

No loss of signal quality, super easy to use. I use it to split the output of my video security NVR to 2 different monitors.

I use this on my FX3 rig to send HDMI out to both my personal monitor and my HDMI wireless transmitter simultaneously. Once powered (works on power bank) it works great, no latency, no tearing, no weirdness. Just double the hdmi feed in a small little box. I love the simplicity and its a good solution for me so I'm happy!

Using this to duplicate my display onto two monitors. I have two stations setup for 2 different tasks, but I don't want to move a laptop from one to the next, nor move the monitor from one station to the other in the other side of the room. Having this allows me to just setup two monitors that displays the same screen to increase my productivity. Great if you're trying to display the same image to two screens in your waiting room as well for customers.

ITEM REVIEWED : NEWCARE HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out____________________________________________________________________________________________In our REC room, we have mounted on the wall our 70" flat screen (4K) TV. On the other side of this wall (in the next room - my wife's hobby room) my wife has a 36" flat screen TV mounted on the wall as a second monitor to her PC. She uses it mostly to display photos she has taken that she uses as subject to paint.Installing this HDMI splitter on the output of our "streaming box" so that one output feeds the 70" (like normal), the second feed is fed via a longer HDMI cable through the wall and to a secondary HDMI input to the TV in my wife's hobby room. This is fantastic. Now she can watch the same program that is playing at the same time in the Rec room. She can travel from room to room without missing anything. The pictures are both 4K and this solution works great.

I have a USB-C to HDMI splitter, but not an HDMI to HDMI splitter, and I figured this would be helpful to keep in my gear bag in case I ever need it. This is a very reasonable price. The thing that I dislike most about this splitter is that it’s powered by Micro USB. USB-C would have been a far better choice because it’s a more modern standard, everyone has USB-C cables, and they’re reversible, meaning if you plug them in upside-down, it won’t damage the port, like Micro USB will do.I am happy this comes with the needed Micro USB cable, though. One thing that surprised me, however, is that the USB-A end didn’t fit all the way into my USB-A charger. Other cables slide all the way in, but this one doesn’t. It still works, but it looks like the wire’s not plugged in all the way.I tested this splitter by connecting my Mac to two HDMI 1080p monitors, one through a Mini HDMI cable. The first time I tried this, one of the monitors showed my computer screen, but the other was blank. I switched the wires and both worked. I switched the wires back, and they took a moment to register, but both worked.Video playback was smooth and without issue. The splitter box itself is lightweight, small, and made of cheap plastic. I don’t imagine it would survive being stepped on. But it ultimately does what it is advertised to do.

I don't really have a lot to say about this device. It's not exciting or revolutionary, but it works exactly as it's supposed to. It seems well built, and it's a great price. So what more can you ask?I wondered if the power connection was really necessary since my HDMI cables are only 3 ft long. So just as an experiment, I tried using it without connecting the power cable, and it doesn't work at all without power. No signal gets through.

This splitter is perfect for those that wish to connect a TV to a game console and plit the source to a capture device for streaming or recording. That or for conncting a single source to a monitor and a projector at the same time.It will NOT support extending a desktop display for a PC as it states in the manual and here on the listing.

This unit works like it should, simply. Just plug in power, your HDMI in and your two outs and it just works! No buttons, and no dip switches, you just plug it in. Picture quality seems to be a 100% mirror of the original and I see no lag or any other sort of degradation. FInally, an inexpensive and simple device that just works!
