I have two of these splitters and the thing I like about them is no dip switch settings and the mode of switching works with a simple push button...and all this at a great price...had other down scalier splitters and they failed and you needed to set EDIC micro-switches that eventually didn't work...just clumsy and over-priced.

I used this for about 2 months before it suddenly died. It was a royal pain to use. Whenever we had a power outage (including a brief flash of the electricity) I had to go down two flights of stairs and select the desired mode again. I also had to unplug the cables and plug them back in, in a specific order to get a picture on both outputs. And audio via HDMI was hit and miss. Something’s it worked and sometimes it didn’t. It’s a terrible product! And very overpriced!

I bought this device because i had an old Full HD AV receiver Onkyo but have PS5 and 4K TV. I used the PS5 splitter output 1 to the 4k TV for the video and splitter output 2 to the AV receiver to use my surround sound speakers but everytime i had to refresh the hdmi spliiter to get 4k resolution to show up on the screen.it was always show only full hd resolution despite the Ps5 outputting 4K

Got this to use with Astro A50x so I wouldn’t need to keep getting up and having my Xbox series x either displayed to my computer monitor or my TV. Since my monitor is only 2k I had to either choose to go with 4k120hz on tv and 1080p120hz on my monitor or just do 2k120hz on both. I can’t tell the different between 2k and 4k so I went with 2k120hz.Setup was easy and straight forward, though I think there is a setting I need to change because when playing halo MCC campaign, whenever I hit a checkpoint the screen goes black on my monitor and comes back but doesn’t do it on my TV. So not sure what’s going on there yet.*UPDATE*Found out what was causing my issue with flickering, my monitor and TV are different of course. I.e TV 4k 120hz LG C1, monitor LG UW 2k IPS 144hz. So I had to setup my Xbox as 2k120hz but my monitor was consistently flickering but my TV was *mostly okay. I had to turn off variable refresh rate on my Xbox series x and there is no more flickering!

Works for dual TVs used on a cable TV setup. However one output was driving a long HDMI cable (about 30 feet) and could not drive the distant TV. Ran this splitters output to another splitters input that was able to drive the long HDMI. (The additional splitter had other problems when driving both TVs). This setup now works well.

My system: Samsung 8K TV, Amazon Fire TV cube 3rd gen, older but great sounding Yamaha receiver. My receiver is older and did not have HDCP copy protection so I could not receive 4K programming from my Fire TV cube. I tried several 1x2 splitters to send video to tv and audio to receiver but they did not work or had audio problems. The AVIDGRAM HDMI 1x2 splitter solved my problem. It worked flawlessly when I set it to copy mode. This small splitter has excellent specs and the build quality surprised me. All metal construction with side cooling vents. After several hours of use, it was barely warm to the touch. The selection button is of good quality with a nice click to change modes. Another nice feature is the fact that it retains your settings even when power is turned off. There is no power button but I attached the USB power cord to a small USB power strip and turn it off when not in use. Picture and audio quality is great! I am so impressed with this splitter that I will order another one as a backup in case it gets discontinued.

Tried several splitters before and all were hinky/querky and only lasted a few days. This one works as it should and is still working after a few months.
