On airlines where you have your own screen for movies, etc. sometimes turning the audio up to maximum still isn't enough for comfortable hearing. This small amplifier works great. Plug it into the airline's input jack; plug your earphones into the amplifier and adjust the volume, first from the airline jack and then from the amplifier. It's particularly helpful if your hearing isn't what it was 60 years ago.

Read about this little too on a MBZ forum. Whenever I used AUX through my phone it sounded terrible as opposed to the Stereo itself. This bumped it up about 5 levels. I was SO happy. Really increases base ( switch on the bass boost button on the bottom )Unfortunately I blew a new speaker on my Nissan, but that because it’s a lower quality stick speaker. This will not replace a new improved stereo system in your car, but will improve your listening if you have low audio through AUX

Disappointed, it stopped working after only 1 month of use. No way to trouble shoot sound not coming out. Even tried the same model from a friend and it worked fine so it wasn't my cords. It was the device pooping out really fast :(

I got this to pair with my Corsair HS60 Pro Surround gaming headset because I used to work on jets and my hearing isn't great. I gotta say the improvement is definitely awesome. Simple compact design with a great battery life. Solid metal case and very well built. Works as described and I recommend for anyone with inline headsets since most outputs from computers or game stations will need the boost anyway - at least if you really want to hear the experience.

Hooked up this little amp to THE DRAGON FLY -RED, WHICH IS HOOKED INTO MAC-AIR USB SLOT. WORKS FLAWLESS WITH IT. HOOKED OUTPUT OF DRAGON FLY RED INTO INPUT OF THIS TINY AMP, THEN TOOK OUTPUT OF HEADPHONE SLOT ON AMP & WENT WITH RCA INPUTS INTO A MINI-SONY CD PLAYER (AUX - INPUT) & PLAYED THROUGH THE SONY (WHICH IS ONLY 20 WATTS). AMAZINGLY, NOW GETTING DOUBLE THE SOUND, PROBABLY ABOUT 50 WATTS BOOST WITH ABSOLUTELY NO DISTORTION, WITH ONLY THE LITTLE AMP VOLUME UP ONLY 1/2 THE WAY. THE DRAGON-FLY RED IT A MUST BUY IF YOU WANT GREAT SOUND BECAUSE IT ELIMINATES THE GARBAGE SOUND THAT THE MAC PUTS OUT ELIMINATING ANY NOISE INHERENT IN LAPTOPS. THIS AMP MAKES THE MINI STEREO SOUND INCREDIBLE!!!!!

This is a great product. I am hard of hearing and the cheapo earbuds issued by the airlines leave me hearing a low volume, low frequency mush that is unintelligible. My own better earbuds help, replacing the high frequencies, but the addition of this nifty little amp makes all the difference. Solidly built, ( it is a heavy little block of metal. ) , and with a smooth, quality touch to the volume control it is of impressive construction. Gives more volume than you could ever want, I am very pleased with the purchase.

We have the AV system in our Yukon but the GM factory IR headphones are lacking in sound and overall build quality. In order for the kids to watch TV or listen to music on road trips, they have to use corded headphones in the one provided headphone jack. This device plugged into the jack, a splitter and a couple of Sony over=the=ear headphones fit the bill nicely. This amplifier boosts up the sound clearly and loudly and easily runs two different sets of quality headphones with plenty of volume to spare. The only issues will be both have to listen at the same volume unless you get headphones with adjustable volume. This only amplifies. This will not act as an equalizer so whatever the signal is coming in is the same coming out.

Straight up if you buying these to make your music loud don’t do it my ears are currently ringing and they hurt. But if you just want to make a speaker louder or somethin like that then go for it.
