The instructions were for hanging potted plants. Nothing to do with kayaks.

Very sturdy and they work well with grow lights. I use these in my work van, my camper, my work area. etc . Obviously not as strong as a rocket strap, but Grey for holding things in place that you don’t need moving around.. I use these all the time when I go to HD to hold things in place swallow going to the job site or bringing stuff home in my van.

Awesome! Very happy with this as bow and Stern lines when I have my kayak on my roof rack. Super easy to adjust for my different size kayaks. Great buy for sure.
