Didn’t have snow in 2024 but certainly do now on 01/07/25.Ordered more to cover my steps and a larger one for my front door step that never was rid of icy conditions before cause I get no sun in front of home until July.

This mat lasted a year. Where the cord attached to the mat got very hot, it burned my trex deck, and would burn your feet if you stepped on that spot. After a year it quit heating completely. This was my second one with a one year life, not good return on investment. I thought the first one was probably a fluke so I didn’t complain and just bought another one. Glad I was smart enough to buy the three year warranty with the second one. Got my money back and bought a different one.

Have a storm door on our front door so when it snows (Alaska) this keeps the snow from building up so you can open the storm door. We get berms of over three feet in front of the door. This stops the snow buildup..
