Living in cold climates like we get in western New York State I needed something to keep me warm when out side on a cold winter days, This vest worked great at keeping me warm. Just wish battery lasted longer for extended periods outside. Over all this is a great vest and recommend it. Only problem I have with it is the size, I take a large normally but should have ordered a medium' these vest must run a little oversize. One more thing, be sure to specify male or female when ordering due to the opposite side of zipper pull. I received wrong version.

It's warm.... It's comfortable and it heats the zones as stated.... and WE PURCHASED THIS.... WE AREN'T ONE OF THE "FREE PRODUCT" reviews. The lining is just like the "OMNI" Lining in Columbia's very expensive NOT HEATED jackets. Very pleased with the purchase. It is warm even without using the heating function.... but the heating is a very appreciated function. UPDATE _and might I add.... the review from "Katie" is very suspicious... WHY WOULD ANYONE REMOVE THE LINING... THEN EXPECT THE SELLER TO CONTACT THEM? MY HUSBAND WEARS THIS EVERYDAY AROUND THE HOUSE AND HE HAS ZERO COMPLAINTS! AND HE IS A SENIOR CITIZEN WHO KNOWS HOW TO COMPLAIN. I feel that "Katie" was very unfair to the seller.... after all HE didn't make the item AND ALL HEATED JACKET'S VESTS ARE MADE IN THE SAME WAY.... BUT THEY WORK VERY WELL.... so well that I am getting one for myself.

I choose this for either my new S American SIL who doesn't know what he's in for with the upcoming Northeast Winters or my older dad who just moved back from Arizona and is finding it deeply chilling. I choose XL because they are both that size but it is too tight and I should have sized up. It is quite long but not wide enough to be comfortable.The vest heats up quickly and has a push button control on the chest. I am satisfied with the temperature. The battery pack is super heavy, though. It has input for the vest (a round plug) as well as a USB and USB-C port. Perhaps in a pouch they could charge your phone, to? IDK, I didn't try it.The best fabric itself is comfortable, soft nylon on the outside and a silver fabric lining to amplify the heat I'm guessing. If the sizing were a little larger, this would be great. I may have to give it to my smaller son.Price point is good, especially with the battery pack included. Made in China.

This vest was really snug as compared to my other jackets of the same size. The battery feels pretty heavy, but I guess it needs to be to last as long as I want it to. The instructions are stitched inside the coat, which seems odd to me. There are 4 buttons, each controlling a different area, which is a nice idea. That said, on high, I only ever felt my neck and lower back get warm. I never could really feel anything in my shoulders and front side. The inside of the jacket is shiny like foil, which isn't desired. I left the jacket on for 3 hours before the jacket stopped heating. It still had charge in the battery, so I must have bumped something?
