This was an easy fix on my daughter’s 2014 Subaru Impreza. Remove the glovebox, pull the lower trim with 3 clips, pull the plug, and remove the three Philips screws. This new fan blows strong and quiet.

It works and looks like the one I removed. Holes lined up and electrical connector snapped right in.The big fault is, it has a squeaky whine. I thought it would break in and go away, but it doesn’t. So this item gets 3* because it works

It was good at first, but after 7 month, the motor is getting weak and even if I turn max power, only a weak wind is coming out. Disappointing.

This is a replacement for the blower motor that got me 250,000 miles on my 2015 Forester. The old motor was failing and this one was inexpensive but seems to be pushing air just fine. Almost subtracted one star simply because this motor gives off more of a high pitched whine when maxed out, but I decided that was a good thing. I definitely recommend this motor.
