I bought this tie out stake because my fence blew over in a hurricane and I could no longer let my dog out in the yard to do her bath-rooming. I am crippled and cannot walk her and cannot afford to put up a fence so I could let her go out and do her thing. I improvised. I had to get this stake so I can still put her out. It has held up to her pulling and tugging which is good. My dog is 85 lbs. So far so good. I have a 75 foot lead for her so she can still wander and get her exercise. I no longer worry about her pulling the stake out of the yard. It is secure.

Easy to install heavy duty and works like a charm. You will need to buy your own chain to hook to it

My soil has small rocks and this was the closest I could get it to the ground. I tried several spots but got the same result.Maybe someone stronger than myself might have been able to get it flush to the ground but I couldn’t . I even tried a rubber mallet but no luck.
