I got these because I am in the market for some larger bookshelf computer speakers. My current speakers are very small and already take up too much room on my desk. I would definitely recommend them for larger speaker than the ones in the photo but they are great overall. These will save you space on your desk.

These are heavy duty and feel sturdy. They were just too big for my use, so I don’t know how good they hold up.

These are fantastic! They are heavy duty, highly adjustable, and feel sturdy enough that I would trust a moderately heavy speaker on them. In addition they have a lot of professional features like safety pins and offset options. It's a niche item to need, but if you want to get your studio monitors up to ear height--or just save some desk space--these do the trick.

I was looking to place my speakers over my two-tiered keyboard setup to have monitors facing in front of me instead of on the sides where I normally must place them.First, I tried to mount them on my keyboard stand itself but they were too short to reach the minimum height needed and the movements from the keyboard stand transferred to these monitor stands making them very unstable and shaky. Then I tried mounting them to an unused keyboard stand placed behind my keyboards and now they work how I intended without the transfer of movement when I play. The stand is easy enough to assemble but the thickness is much thinner than other similar more professional products. The clamp itself is thinner metal too. However my speakers aren’t heavy at 8 pounds and these stands have no problem supporting them while remaining stable. They functioned as advertised. The upside is that the thickness of the surface to which you can mount the clamp is actually bigger than a Liquid Stand and should be able to clamp to a lot of surfaces. The downside is that the pad you place on top of the shelf isn’t pre-attached, they are much thinner metal than similar products, and there are no sides to help keep your speakers from accidentally falling off.But considering the cost of other similar products, these are a budget friendly solution if you’re not looking for professional stands.

I have a pair of JBL 305P's and I had been using floor stands before but wanted something more compact and figured I'd try these guys out -- they're fantastic! The stands are solidly made, they're easy to assemble, and I feel secure having them clamped to my desk.I do wish the base was a little wide so they can spread the weight a bit more but it appears as if most of these types of stands are like this. Luckily, I have these metal plate things that I have installed already for my monitor arm and laptop mount so I have one of each end of my desk and these are clamped to that. It's not needed, especially if you have a solid wood desk but It's something to consider.Overall, these are excellent studio monitor stands, they're very sturdy and feel secure holding up my speakers.

These Heavy Duty Studio Monitor Speaker Stands are pretty straightforward to put together. You can get a significant height with these as far as speaker placement, and also upward-downward tilt. The stands feel well built and durable, and the design allows you to place speakers even when your desk is pretty close to the wall. These are large in size though, at 12 by 9 inches, and so if your speakers are small or medium, these might be overkill. I do wish that they were more creative with cable management with these stands. Granted, these ship with velcro straps to help you secure speaker cables to the pole, but the pole is large enough and also hollow, that they could easily have put cut-outs in the pole so you could snake through wires for a cleaner look. All in all, these come as advertised, and the stands seem like they'll last for a long time. These also ship with a pair of thin dense foam pads for noise isolation. The foam pads cover the entire surface of the speaker stands.

They seem substaintial but I don't trust them with my speakers on them as they easily move and just seem too flimsy to hold my studio monitors. The fact that the foam that sits on top of these isn't even evenly cut also doesn't inspire confidence in the product.

These are heavy duty speaker stands that will work with most office desks or mix stations. When I ordered these, I was sort of hoping they would also be suited to use on the sides of my keyboard stand, but the bottom clamps are strictly for use with a flat board. Both the height and the angle of the speakers are adjustable. The base of the stand can be centered on the pole or installed off-center should it be necessary. In the end, I may still put these to use if I invest in a plank that can go between my keyboard and its stand. This one is a keeper. Recommended...
