These bags are excellent! I was looking for a reliable solution for a sand-bag replacement that would be great to travel with for video shoots. Looking around at other options, most reviews say that these type of bags leak. I did not have great expectations initially but these bags worked very very well. The material is very strong and the drain plug at the bottom of the bags makes it really easy to fill and drain.Another note - they are the perfect size. They hold plenty of water to hold down a c-stand or light stand. They are closer to the size of a regular sand bag on set. Other options on the market are ginormous so I was very happy with the size and weight.I cannot recommend these enough, they have made my travel shoots so much better.

These are great for our canopy/ez-up when we go camping or to a tailgate party. They are so convenient for storing too.

I cover my deck furniture with sheets of plastic during the three weeks of pine pollen that we get every year. It gets very windy, so the water weight bags hold the plastic down perfectly. They are easy to fill with water and then pack away empty.

Unfortunately, these bags are not identical to the photos. My assumption is over time the manufacturer has been cutting corners. The thickness of the seams on the bags I received are 13/64". I bought 16 and used 4. All 4 were filled about half way, I wanted them to mold to what they were holding down. The first bag let go within a couple hours. The second bag had a slow leak. I can't trust that they will hold anything safely and securely. There's a card inside advising not to return to Amazon and to contact them directly for a free replacement, but I can't trust the bags now. Avoid at all costs!

This product was exactly as advertised & exactly what I needed, though I'm not using it for the intended purpose exactly: Ineeded bags that could be filled w/ water (& thus easily drained) to hold the stand for a giant 3-section patio umbrella. These are perfect. FOUR bags for $28, easily carried 1 at a time, or filled on the spot w/ a garden hose, & they hold that umbrella down as well as 2 sandbags. I'm ordering more on the theory that at some point one may break or get punctured, but for now they are not leaking & doing their job. I'm not sure how UV resistant they are, so I am going to cover them. And the enclosed note from the company, assuring me that they'd answer any questions & take care of any issues promptly was a nice touch.

I've wanted to get some weights for our conference signage but didn't want to spend a fortune on shipping. These solved the problem as they are light when empty, and it's easy enough to fill them on site.Be sure to dry them well before packing to prevent mildew or odors. So far they seem to be durable and leak free.

I was looking for a solution to weigh down some outdoor furniture items that do not react well to wind. As patient as my neighbors are, they were growing tired of repeatedly finding my patio items in their pool.For many years I had tried using sandbags od various styles, sizes, and materials. Inevitably they would wear out in the sun and rain, and I'd wind up with sand everywhere.I bought these water weight bags hoping they would last longer than the sandbags and so far they have not disappointed. They were MUCH easier to fill, just hook up the hose or stick 'em under the tap. Each bag weighs about 11 pounds when full, and folds down the middle to sit easily on horizontal crossbars or flared "feet."I bought two sets of these bags for a total of 8. Seven of them worked perfectly. One had a broken seal around the fill port and would not hold water. I mentioned this to the seller and within literal *minutes* had a reply telling me they would happily send me a new one at no charge. How's that for outstanding service?Since installing these bags, they have been subject to temperatures from 48°F to 108°F, more than three inches of rain, strong direct sunlight, and wind gusts as high as 56mph. My furniture has stayed put, with no movement or damage to them or to the bags themselves. I will be purchasing a third set. These are indeed an excellent alternative to sandbags.

I bought these to weigh down patio furniture on a super windy balcony, and they work great! The seal leaked a bit on one bag, but after an extra hard twist on the cap, the leak stopped. I definitely recommend these weights!
