I bought this as an alternative to the Occidental set i should have just shelled out for from the get. I returned the first one because a rivet broke about an hour into the first day using it. Returned it and received another. This one lasted a couple days before the rivet in the same location broke again. I had to repair with my own rivet it because I needed it to work. Not sure yet if I am going to return. Do not buy this.

These are great for when I am handling projects around my property. It supports my various tool bets with ease and allows me to carry everything I need on hand when I am wandering from house to house and project to project.The leather work on these suspenders are good enough and I haven’t had any issues with the nylon up tho this point.Price and quality wise I think these are perfect for the at home builder.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

The straps are kinda short but I'm a short woman, so works for me. This helps me wear a tool belt for when I need too do garden/outdoor work, and spreads the weight out so protects my back. This has a nice padded shoulder straps/back piece too. The balance of the straps are leather, metal hardware seems good. Regular price $ 69.99 per the listing and there's a 10% off coupon right now.

I ordered these tool belt suspenders for myself. I have tried several sets of tool belt suspenders and they have all been too long. I find that odd because I am not a small man. I am 6' tall and about 220 lbs, so it's not as if I'm petite! LOL! Previous suspenders have left the tool belt hanging way down low so the pouches were so low I couldn't easily reach the bottoms of them. These suspenders put the pouches at a convenient height for me. They seem well made also; with thick leather and heavy-duty fabric. I like that there is a sternum strap. They also look good. Five stars.

The only flaw of this set is how it is way too short. On my 6'4" husband, the absolute longest setting had the belt around his ribs. This is made for smaller than average sized people and even then expect the belt to hang at the waist or above. That is probably how some people like their tools, but we were hoping for something different. This was just ridiculously small.The shoulders are very padded so I am guessing that part would be comfortable for a smaller person. There is a chest strap that is removable with a screw on each side. That is a nice, customizable feature.They did actually use real leather. It is thick leather, but I don't know about the quality. It will definitely take a bit of care and conditioning to make sure it doesn't get brittle. Overall I would say the quality is good but not great.Because this is not that adjustable I can't rate it as very functional. The back can't be adjusted at all!! For the right size and personal preference I can see someone being very happy with it. But for well over over fifty dollars I think the price is too high.

When I saw the photos for this item, I was hoping the leather would be sturdy enough to hold up for a few years. Instead, I think these could be passed down to a handy grandchild! The leather is thick and heavy and sturdily riveted to the straps. The buckles and clamps are very heavy-duty metal. I think you could hang from a helicopter attached by this and not worry! The shoulder straps have really thick comfortable padding make it easier to support a heavy tool belt. I am thrilled with this item and can't wait to gift it to my husband this Christmas!Edit: My husband was thrilled with this; he was very happy with the fit and quality and couldn't wait to use it. However, when he put it on, he discovered the buckle for the chest straps was missing. I spent over 45 minutes navigating through Amazon's site to get an answer...?... You can't speak to a live person or even interact in emails or online. Apparently, the only solution I could find was we had to take the whole thing to a UPS store and return it and wait for a replacement. We couldn't just request the missing buckle. What a waste of time, energy and resources due to a lack of personal interaction. I'm hoping for a speedy replacement and will update as appropriate. Once I found the answer that I hope is the right one, it was easy to request a replacement, and we didn't even need to repackage it. They just sent an email with a QR code to scan, and they placed it a bag and then a big box for Amazon returns. Apparently, there are a lot of them, but at least it's an option I can live with. My husband is suffering from withdrawals though.....Second amendment: The replacement came in just a few days. Apparently it wasn’t just a missing buckle, but it had two straps with holes for the buckle and not the side with the buckle attached through a leather hoop riveted together. Very sturdily and permanently made. My husband couldn’t be happier, which made me very happy. Thanks to everyone!!!!
