This came with NO installation instructions. Installing the rubber is WORSE than a nightmare. If I had read other reviews prior to purchase, I would NOT have purchased this. I rate this as a -10 and highly recommend that you not be weak enough to purchase this item. Installing the rubber is a REAL FIGHT.

This windsheild is identical as the others on after market, at half the cost.

Only one I can find for my ranger. Seems awfully expensive for the quality But since I can't find another I guess I don't have a leg to stand on.This is my 2nd one. First one blew up cause I didn't have it strapped open. Well enough. Flipped back and exploded.

We have been trying for over an hour to get the gasket on. It WILL NOT FIT, and the metal clamps inside will not open, the rubber is coming off them. May amend my review if we actually manage to get it on. Right now we are both FURIOUS. We expected to have to install it, not wrestle with a strip of metal-imbedded plastic for hours on end. There are actually NO instructions on how to assemble. There are rivets, and it doesn't say anywhere about riveting anything. I'm calling to check on a refund.

I will say that once it is installed it works well. I was surprised by the amount of assembly required. The hinge and hardware must all be riveted together. The rivets are required and I had a rivet gun so it was not a massive deal but a second person to help comes in very handy. The rubber trim is not installed so it has to be cut to length and hammered on. That is mildly tricky because it has metal inside so it becomes difficult to get it to contour to the shape of the windshield. The rubber straps to hold it open or closed are odd and in your field of view while driving. I realize this windshield is on the less expensive end of the spectrum, but it was still expensive enough that it should have at least been assembled. There is no extra hardware so be careful with your rivets. I recommend installing the rubber edge strips first. I waited until it was assembled and mounted before I did that part and it was sketchy.
