I was concerned with how a plastic cover would look in comparison to the original leather. However, it looks great. I didn’t want a cheap replacement that would look cheap but these fit well, with some heat and manipulation, and were fairly easy to install. I removed the door panels and used weighted bags to hold down the panel while the glue dried. Also I used gorilla glue instead of the provided glue.

These are absolutely garbage. Sand/trim too much, and you're left with gaps. Do too little, and they don't fit properly, and pop out before the adhesive can dry.Only way I got them to work was abandoning the original instructions, drilling holes and riveting the panel on. It will work for now. Eventually I'm just gonna spend the money and have the door panels professionally redone.Avoid these if you can

We purchase a 2006 mustang GT and the door panels were missing the vinyl trim making it look horrible. For the price I can’t complain however the glue was trash. We purchased some trim screws at autozone and pre drilled 1/8 holes and screwed it in rather than glueing.

Item works and looks good. Yes you need to get ALL old material off the panels down to the plastic, and yes you will have to trim some spots. Take your time do the work and they will look good

The door panel inserts could be a decent product. Material thickness is good and leather texture looks good too. It is an injection molded part. Once out of the injection mold it needs to be trimmed by the manufacturer (excessive material from the molding process needs to be cut away). And here the issues starts. In case of the the parts I did receive the right insert is still somewhat fair but the left side insert was trimmed so badly that about 1/4‘‘ of the contour line above the door handle is missing which looks really crabby! So be aware of this when you order the parts. It might be ok or it might not. And it is not perfectly following the door panel contour. Some adjustments might be necessary. When you are a skilled person it is manageable. It is made in China. If you can spend more money my recommendation is to buy a US-made product. You should look for example for the company that is famous for their dashboard repair covers.

These were installed on a 2005 Ford Mustang v6, and after watching people get the installation wrong on YouTube -- and doing it myself -- I'm convinced anyone's problem with the installation is lack of prep. Firstly, almost everyone seems to have the same problem, i.e the door panel fabric peels off and leaves a yellowish felt behind. You absolutely have to get all that residual felt off including any glue residue. It needs to be all plastic -- and that ain't easy. Literally, 99% of all my effort was getting the remaining 'carpet and glue' off. Additionally, you'll need a variety of scrapers, and just go slow. I used soap, water & a stiff nylon brush for the remaining glue. Next, don't use the glue(silicon) they provide; rather, pick up a (6 FL OZ) tube of FLEX GLUE WHITE. The one tube is enough for both doors. Don't go hog-wild with it either or you'll be cleaning more than you want to. Finally, push the plastic inserts into the grooves. I used a towel and screwdriver (to not scratch anything), and lay weights on the corners and center. Note: they need to be heavy. I used dumbbells. Because I removed both door panels, this project took a whole Saturday. Again, if you do the prep-work, these things slide right in.

First of all I ordered black and the color did not match the car it was dark grey.Granted I did not expect this to be an all day project, but I tried to install it it an tape it and my guess is that I will need to do again or try to buy some other ones. The small tube of silicone is barely enough for one panel, I used some old silicone I had for the next panel, but when installing and taping they did not fit correctly. After installing one side it fit but y the time I pressed down on the other side the original side kept popping out. I just taped and left it> I will update to see how it turns out but I would definitively not buy this product again.
