I’ve been mounting metal shelving along one wall of my new carport and got this chain. I used it to support the front of those shelves, from the shelf to the roof poles.I appreciate that each length will support 176 lbs of load – more than enough for my purpose – and that it is stainless steel = no rust.You get 33 ft (well, 32.8) of chain in your order.

I didn't use this for hanging anything. My project involved attaching this to the bottom of some tarps I'm hanging around my shop for winter. The bottom of it is open air where I often work on things as well as park my car and truck on extremely cold days. Since I need to be able to get them in and out my options for opening and closing easily and still keeping the cold air out are limited. I needed something to weight the bottom of the tarps down while still able to collapse as I opened them. Chain was the perfect solution. On days that aren't windy they will hold the bottom without having to secure them. On the days that are the chain also serves as reinforcement to keep from ripping the tarp.This chain has good smooth uniform links with good welds. The capacity seems to be there.Great product. Great value.
