This Hello Kitty nail polish and lip gloss set is an adorable choice for kids or any Hello Kitty fan. The packaging is cute but a bit fragile, so it may not hold up well for gifting. The lip glosses have fun, light bakery-inspired scents like salted vanilla caramel and fruit flavors, with a soft, non-sticky texture and a subtle shine. The nail polishes are bright and shimmery but can be tricky to apply—thin coats work best, as they don’t dry quickly and can get goopy if applied too thick. They also wash off easily with water. Overall, a fun and cute starter set!

So many colors of nail polish and lip gloss! I got this as a gift for my friend’s granddaughter, who loves makeup (mommy is a makeup artist and hairdresser) as well as Hello Kitty. She loved it!Glad the nail polish is water-based, since some of it seemed a little thick.

Townley makes great products for kids/tweens. The colors are subtle and the characters appeal to that age group. My granddaughter loves this kit with lip gloss and nail polish.

My little 4-year old niece is in LOVE with Hello Kitty and in LOVE with makeup. In comes this Hello Kitty makeup set! It's the cutest little age-appropriate set with easily removable nail polish and lip gloss. Perfect gift for the little ones!

This is a cute starter makeup kit for kids - can't lose with Hello Kitty. :) The nail polishes are not fast drying and will get a little stringy/plasticy if you apply too much in an area. They don't have a strong nail polish smell, so there has to be a more kid friendly formula that removes that smell but makes the polish a little goopier. The glosses are great though - scented lightly and with sweet bakery flavors, not sticky on the lips, and with just a little bit of sparkle and sheen to make the kid happy without looking like makeup-makeup.

Lipstick: This smells really good! The light pink one smells like salted vanilla caramel. I can’t smell it after I applied it, though. It’s thin and not sticky. It’s pretty shiny. It doesn’t seem to last too long. I can’t see it anymore and it’s only been about ten minutes. I see the shimmer a bit on the edges of my lips. I like it for the smell. It really smells good :)Nail Polish: It’s very liquid, but seems to dry pretty quickly. I was surprised. It seems to work best if you apply a thin coat and wait for it to dry before putting another coat on. I put one coat on one side and it dried within 5 minutes, but the other side where I put two coats on? It’s still wet. The color is pretty transparent for the dark pink kitty with shimmer. It’s a bright cool-tone almost hot pink. They dry with a slight texture to them. They are still shiny and haven’t chipped. It came off when I took a bath. It came off completely and neatly. I didn’t have to do a thing.Nice! Fun :)

This review is for the Townley Girl Hello Kitty nail polish and lip gloss set. This is a very cute set for anyone who loves Hello Kitty. The box it comes in is plastic and a little fragile—mine cracked a bit on its way to me, which would be a concern if I were gifting it to someone. The lipglosses have an adorable silicone Hello Kitty on top of each one, and the fruit flavors are noticeable but not too overwhelming. I did find the nail polishes to be a little finicky as they don’t like to dry down easily. The colors are cute though and there’s a good amount of different colors.
