Used ON HJC helmet and it worked fine. You do not need to remove factory d rings to use like I had to on a previous one

Was easy to install, very well built and easy to operate once installed and the helmet is on. Best value for the price! Will buy again if I buy any more helmets that need a QR

I ordered 2 of these quick release buckles from 2 different sellers. While they both look the same and installation is exactly the same, this one is better in one way. The part that snaps into the buckle is metal. On the other one it's plastic, it's a thick plastic, but it is still plastic. You never want to wreck on a motorcycle but have to plan for the worst. In the case of an accident I'd feel more secure knowing my strap is metal than plastic. So in my opinion this buckle is the clear winner. The install was easy once I used my own screwdriver instead of the small one they include. But if you don't have any that small the one provided will suffice. After both ends of the buckle are on, I pulled like crazy to make sure it was snug and wouldn't budge and it did not! Overall, this is a great solution to pesky d-ring straps, spend more time riding and less time fidgeting with buckles.

As a motorcyclist, I’ve had quick-release buckles added to helmets for the obvious reason. They make fastening it much faster and easier. This setup appeared to have all the right stuff. However, after I carefully installed it, including adding Low Strength thread locker to the tiny screw, I noticed a peculiar thing. Pulling on the strap loosened it! It pulled out. I didn’t even have to pull hard.Apparently the spring which keeps the raised end in the buckle is too weak to do its job. It needs to forcefully press down on the raised mating surface so there is no movement. This device is unsafe and I can’t recommend it.
