I am not convinced this was an original Henderson Thermoprene suit as it came from a factory in China. When I tried to contact the web company I purchased it from, they stated I was past the return policy date.My plan is to return the suit to Henderson directly to determine if it is authentic or "KNOCK OFF". Buyer be ware!!

My XCEL 3mm suit died in Mexico this month at about 275 dives. Came home and ordered the Henderson Men's Thermoprene Pro Wetsuit 3mm Back Zip Fullsuit. I just pulled the suit out of the box and tried it on. The suit appears to be well built and finished nicely. It went on quite easily and I was able to close the back zip by myself with little effort. Suprisingly, I was able to easily undo the neck closure, unzip the suit and take it off solo. I'm 5'9", 170lb, 34" waist, and the 3mm medium suit fits quite well. There is a very small amount of gap in the armpit area, but when I bring my arms forward a little, the gap is minimized. Of course I am unable at this time to speak of the suit's warmth or durability and am relying on Henderson's reputation and the testimony of other divers on these factors.

I wore it everyday while I was boogie boarding at York ME (least hour ea. day in the surf, for a week) It kept me from feeling how cold the water was, except for small air gap in the” small” of my back. The thremopene material is thinner then expected , but didn’t seem to effect performance. It is well made , some what stretchy , comfortable, nice knee pads. I didn’t overheat when sitting beach , although it was only in the high 70s. Finding correct size is important ( true to size) , mine ML.

Thermoprene = very warm, even for a 3mm in tropical climates. Basically in 25C or warmer, you'll be sweating if you are out of the water. Great insulation, seals well against skinIf I knew how warm it would get, would have gotten the scubapro 3/2mm or Bare 3mm
