Exactly that they say they are. Top 3/5 of paper is blank for drawing (standard thickness so lingering a marker on it will bleed through. Crayons and pencils best) bottom is the handwriting practice solid lines above and below, dashed line in the middle. I bought these because my 1st grader's supply list implied it was needed for the school year - turns out a generous donor got the entire 1st grade's supplies and there wasn't anything like this included so I wonder if I even got the right product. I'm using these at home for fun and her younger sister so it's not wasted.

My grandson prefers to draw his own pictures over using coloring books. These have a good number of pages per book, are large enough for him to be very creative and is his go-to choice when he's visiting. I gave some of them to my daughter to have at her home and she says he's very happy with them.

The product is great quality and very cute, but the notes say "composition books" and generally that has a harder cover on it. These are more paperback style and booklet material. They are SUPER flexible and definitely smaller than a normal comp book. Overall great quality though!

I'm thrilled with these Henoyso primary composition notebooks! The colorful covers are adorable, and the 60-page count is perfect for my kindergarten and 2nd-grade kids. The paper quality is great, and the notebooks are just the right size for little hands. My kids love using them for writing, drawing, and creating stories. Great value for the price, highly recommend!

EXACTLY what I was looking for to use in our Children's Ministry classes at church for 4 year olds all the way through 4th graders (and I'm sure older ages would've enjoyed them as well). The kids ASK for them first thing. Plenty of space to draw pictures and/or write in them. I ordered a variety of stickers so they could personalize the front cover. Coming in a variety of colors was an AWESOME added feature!
