Benji and Dani's love story is unusual and outstanding. Benji is the middle Miller brother. Danii is the daughter of the Rancher next door. Their families have been rivals for years. When the barn at Dani's ranch catches fire, she wakes her brothers, Chester and James and her parents, telling them to call 911. She runs out to the barn and starts letting the horses out. She and her brothers are all burned. Benji's mom sends him to help the family. As Benji and Dani work together they fall in love. I love a book with a beautiful proposal and this one is breathtaking.Benji asked "Hey, are you right?" Dani said "I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" "Because you've gone through something pretty traumatic and two people you love very much are currently being treated for something very scary." She looked at him with wide eyes, his words striking down to her core, while he'd regarded her with ,soft sort of patience that didn't make any sense. She looked up at him and felt like maybe she was seeing a human instead of an adversary."I know it probably doesn't seem like it, but I promise you not everyone wants to hurt you. There are decent people in the world. I hope you feel safer when your brothers are back. And they will be." Geez, the Millers were even stranger than she thought."If I could have more, I'd want to hold you. Maybe never let you go." Out of nowhere they were embracing. "What else?" "If I could have more I'd definitely want to kiss you right now." "Then, you should do it." He closed the distance between them and suddenly his mouth was on hers.At the family barbecue, Benji sank to one knee. "Danielle, you have made my life more amazing than I ever thought possible. You've helped me grow as a person. To be better, kinder, and more appreciative of everything I have." He reached into his pocket, opening the little box he pulled out, He held up the ring to her. "Dani, will you do me the honor of being my wife?" "Oh my gosh, yes, Benji, Yes!" He slid the ring on her finger and she threw her arms around his shoulders and crashed her lips to his.Benji looked at the massive crowd with the love of his life at his side. A lot had changed since they'd met, including him, but he knew without a doubt, he was no longer the forgotten middle child he'd thought he was. No, he was Benjamin Miller, soon to be husband of Danielle Touley, the strongest, most beautiful woman he knew. What kind of better fate could he ask for?Natalie has written another remarkable story about being a Rancher, being a Rancher's daughter and of course falling in love. I recommend this book and all of Natalie's books to everyone.

This book has it all, bullying, body image, depression, family tragedy, compassion and understanding, personal growth, friendship, and, one of my favorites - a great epilogue!

I enjoyed reading this ranch book. I especially liked the characters. I also liked that Dani was a little chunky, and not the usual "perfect" woman. Benji loved her just like she was. It was refreshing to see! It is a good read, and I enjoyed it.

Well written and engaging, this story is a rewarding romance, hitting the right spots and keeping the reader entertained. Recommended for readers who enjoy wholesome and innocent relationships where the attraction between the main characters are palpable and they can resist the temptation to make it more physical. A HEA without explicit scenes.

I'm so glad I started reading this series. Each book has been interesting and the casts of each have equally helped keep me invested in the stories. I only wish the Miller's dad wasn't so much of a shadow. He only seems to chop wood and eat a few meals. This family prays and chats at meal times, but it's like the dad isn't even there. Maybe he plays a bigger role later in the series.Still, this book was just as fun and interesting as the first two. It's clean, with a very light dusting of faith. I liked how the heroine was feisty and determined to show the naysayers she was going to keep doing her thing. I also liked how the MCs met and how their relationship progressed. If you enjoy clean romance, cowboys, and a little bit of faith, you might enjoy this book.

Her Rival Cowboy is the third book in the series of the the Miller brothers. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Danielle has been going through life being harassed and bullied by her peers because she is overweight and her family is not rich. She has built up walls to overcome her depressing thoughts about herself and is really a family person. He brothers and parents love her for who she is and she thinks she is happy with that. A fire is set in their barn and her two brothers are badly burned and hospitalized. Their neighboring ranch is the Miller Ranch and one of their sons is sent over to help clean up the debris and be there to help them while the boys are in the hospital. Benji Miller is the middle son and feels that he is unsure where he fits in with his family of five boys. He is happy to help Danielle's family and is welcomed by her parents , but, Danielle resents him and his family feeling that they think they are better than everyone else. Benji thinks that she is beautiful the way she is and had not realized she was being bullied all their years in school or that people could be so cruel. I thought that Natalie Dean handled the social problem well and wrote a wonderful story about overcoming the problem and the attitudes of some people. I would recommend all of her books. They are great.

I have read some of Natalie Dean's historical westerns, since that kind is my favorite, but they were just okay. However with this series she blows it out of the park. It's obvious where her heart lies and it's not in historical westerns. I even went back to see if they were the earlier generation of the Miller's but it doesn't appear to be the case.I didn't read the first in the series, but I did read Bart and Missy and loved that story. So I had to try out Benji's story with Dani. I have to say I loved this one just as much as Bart's but for different reasons. I can't wait to read Bradley's story. I have an idea of who I hope is his love interest but I will have to wait to see if I'm right. I don't know who the youngest is but I bet he'll be good as well. I might even go back to read Ben's story.I love the Miller family and I feel like they are old friends when I went back. I love the mom. She was so darn cute in Bart's story and I liked her appearance in this one as well.Great job!!!
