Works well, no issues. I take it to jams and I have added a fiddle hanger on the back side. I use it with the cello spike retracted to keep it closer to the ground and it is very stable

I didn't understand how to leave my end pin out at first on this stand. I thought the bottom of the cello had to touch the padded legs of the stand to keep it sturdy, but that's not the case. With the end pin left out, the cello rests on the neck where it bends into the scroll, and it can twist left or right slightly but it remains sturdy and there's no risk of it hitting any part of the stand. I love the included knob to hold my bow. Makes it so easy to steal a few minutes and play without wrestling things out of a case and getting your end pin set just right, etc. It's a little pricey but I think it's definitely worth it. One critique: I wish the center adjustment knob had some padding. I have already bumped that with the back of the cello when lifting the cello out of the stand. But that's something I can easily add myself.

I bought this for my Yamaha Silent Cello and it works perfectly. The cello is secure and really easy to pick up and remove from the stand. I’m lazy so I like that I can just leave the end pin out. There’s also a little knob to hang your bow, which is nice. Definitely recommended.

I was looking for a sturdy stand that would work for an electric cello. This fits the bill perfectly— now my cello and bow are easily within reach for a quick practice session! One thing to keep in mind is that it needs a certain amount of floor space for the tripod base, so make sure you plan for right corners, doors, etc.

I use Hercules stands for my guitars, so I purchased this Cello stand for my girlfriend, and she is very pleased. It's sturdy and does the job. A number of other reviews make mention of not being able to extend their endpin, but she's not bothered by it - even better! It's a bit pricey but so was her Cello, so worth the investment.

Safe, rugged, convenient, attractive and compact.. Second best thing to having a closet to store instruments and even then, I would still want the stand. My problem remains in finding a suitable place to store the empty fabric case. I feel the price is fair and the shipping was great.

Solid cello stand from which you basically "hang" your cello by the neck with the lower bouts resting against the padded foam legs. It doesn't cradle with arms like some other stands, but has proven to be quite functional and easy to use. Keeping the instrument out and easily accessible helps encourage practice as well, and this stand has a handy bow holder... All-in-all, a very good stand, but not quite perfect...

This is a very versatile stand since the height is adjustable for different sized instruments. This would be good for younger students as they work up to full size instruments. It displays the cello very well and makes it readily accessible to encourage practice. The three legs make it very stable. The gravity operated latch that holds the cello is convenient and fumble free. The bow holder peg is very effective as well.
