This item clearly states 29 pin SFF-8482, and the pictures show the additional 7 pins, but the cable I received does not have the additional 7 pins.

Cable works great, perfect length to route through a server and connect externally due to no internal ports (and not wanting to add more HBAs)

These are the first mini-SAS plugs I have ever bought but I am a Home Theater/HiFi Music buff. So I can easily pick apart cheap cables. The connectors are solid, heavy, snug and LOCK in place. The cables are thick, a bit stiff but seem very well made. There are cheaper ones available but I chose these because they looked like they were nice quality and I wasn't disappointed. I run a large (5) 18TB HDD array running a Plex server and a 4TB SSD on TrueNAS OS and went with an external box to house the HDDs. So much easier this way and wish I would have switched to this method months ago! I would recommend these cables to anyone.

This cable is required for the INTEL HOTSWAP Drive CAGE KIT - alas intel don't supply a cable with the kit.This cable solves the problem.
