I wanted to get a little bit more organized about my son’s artwork and other various mementos. I ordered some plastic hanging filing tubs, and I got these for them. I love that you can fold the bottom to make them larger and sturdier so that you can fit a lot in there. I’m planning to organize these by year (wrapping up year one now, and they seem to be the perfect fit.) I price checked the legal size folders everywhere, and this was by far the best deal for a reputable brand. I still need to add tabs and labels, but I think these will be just what I needed and will be a good value for the price for long-term storage.

At first glance, the folders appear to be as good as the famous brand. I am in the process of using them and will update my findings if they do not stand up to my original opinion.

I don't particularly care for these. They're annoying to put together. Having to fold all the crevices and stick the cardboard in between, it's a little aggravating. I would rather pay more for 1 to 2 inch file folders that are just ready to go out of the package and you don't have to put together. They also don't stay "put together" well. When you're sliding them around in the filing cabinet some of them will raise up on one side. And then you have to pull that one completely out, fix the crevice part of it and then put it back in and hope it stays down. I think these are poorly made. The bottom supports should at least be plastic, not cardboard.

I was expecting file folders that had the reinforced boxed bottom so that I didn't have to manually insert a cardboard thingy into the bottom of the folder held by little punched notches. I can understand the larger ones having that but not the one inch. So not only do I have to insert the stupid things but I have to manually tape down each side so they don't pop up. I expected better. Plus the colour is kind of bland.
