our students had a community service day and one of the projects was making shelter dog treats. We stuffed these paper rolls with canned pumpkin and put them in the freezer. I never knew you could purchase toilet paper roll cores in bulk, so this was fantastic to have for this project.

Was thinking these would be the thickness of a toilet paper tub but they are much more rigid. I used these to make tick tubs and they hold up well in the rain

This review is for the HESESOH 100 Pack Cardboard Tubes for Crafts - 1.57 x 3.94 Inches - Brown Toilet Paper Empty Rolls Round Thick Tubes Sturdy for Classroom Family Handmade DIY Projects. These tubes come nicely packed and the box is also good to store them in. Keep in mind these tubes are much thicker than the ones you get with toilet paper on them. Great for some projects, but if you want small children to be able to cut into them, these are not the ones for you. The quality of these tubes are very nice and they are very uniform as well.

These are way more rigid than regular toilet paper tubes... thankfully! I had hoped they were because I need them rigid for our use.These are just about perfect for science kits to wind coils for "trench radios" or electromagnet experiments.Great price for these tubes. Awesome find!
