Hands down my favorite learning tool for teaching young kids their letters. The more we play, the more exposure they have to the alphabet. We make houses (as seen in the photo), mats, and trails. We build words and sound things out. So many possibilities and great fun!

I LOVE THE LETTERS MAT. I use it as like a ABC carpet for his toys lol. He still has access to pick up letters and stuff. Quality is good. Value is good.

This can be so much more than just a nursery floor mat!Believe it or not, I purchased this as a pool toy. I was looking for something amusing and unusual for the grandkids to play with in the pool. The letters punch out of the mat squares kind of like a puzzle. It probably goes without saying, but being foam they easily float. They seem to be completely water proof, so far they have not swelled or absorbed water, nor have they distorted in any way. (to test this out we first punched out the little triangle center of an A and left it in water for several days, there was no change in shape, size or color) After using in water, you will still be able to use this as it was intended. The letters pop right back into place in the squares to serve as a floor mat.So, we ordered three of these mats, punched out all the letters and tossed them all into the pool. The kids are given a category like "animal", "ice cream flavor", "color", "name", etc and they have to swim around and find the letters to spell their word. Littler ones can be helped to find a single letter, or one letter of a certain color. I'm sure we'll be able to dream up more games in the future (any reviewer's suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)We are thrilled with the durability of these mats. The colors are bright and cheerful. The kids have thoroughly enjoyed playing with them both in and out of the pool. The older ones have a blast spelling words all over the floor, or putting the squares together like a crossword puzzle.

My little one crawls all over these. Nice foam material. Easy to clean and easy to pull apart and put in storage as needed.
