This keyless drill chuck works well on a corded or cordless hand drill or a polisher/buffer. You tighten it by hand as it does not use a chuck key. Just check it from time to time while using it to make sure it stays tight.

Replaced the original key type chuck on a 40ish year old black and decker corded drill. It does fit the drill, barely. Maybe 0.32nds clearance between the drill body and the bottom of the chuck. Also, the reverse thread look screw from the original chuck isn’t long enough for this one, so hopefully it stays tight on its own. Aside from all of that, it does seem to work ok.

Before, I wanted to discard my Black & Decker hand drill because the chuck's thread damaged. Until I found a chuck that almost the same as my broken one on Amazon, I picked my hand drill back from garbage bin and place an order to buy one.
