the foot pedal doesnt stay in place, both my hi hat top cymbals are too heavy and make it "slump". Not sure it is even worth 50 dollars. I am returning it for hopefully something less rickety even if a little more expensive.

If you press down a little too hard say while your getting a little too into the groove then the top part of your hi hat will start to move up and it’ll just be the top hi hat that will be getting played and not both the bottom and the top. Also I didn’t get my drumsticks.

The feet seem to slide a bit but all in all for under 100 bucks and cymbals bought separately. My wife officially hates me.. great product though

I found it was not the top high hat riding up but unless you FIRMLY secured both lower adjustments right next to on another whole stem road up. The top hat clutch is also cheap so has to be cranked within an inch of its life which hurts your fingers (I have ordered another more user friendly clutch). So why 4 stars? You can make it work and it costs $50, if you want something better pay more money. I’ve put a more expensive unit on my Christmas list but this is adequate for time being.

Everything came in the box, the unit feels sturdy. I used 13" cymbals though by mistakes but everything plays perfectly.
