Why we need this bracket?
Hi-Lift jacks are important products for us to go off-road. However, large size and heavy weight bring difficulties to our travel. This bracket can actually solve your troubles and help the Hi-Lift jack to be tightly fixed on the door and hood hinges. Save valuable vehicle space, and also eliminate the noise generated by the vehicle and the damage caused by the movement of the jack.

The bolts are too short and it will not work on the front door of my 2021 JL. It will not even allow the door to open half way before hitting the antenna. Have to move it to the back door. I am not tall enough for it on my hood…

On the plus side, I can still use my windshield washer fluid with these mounting brackets. That was a big concern with other brackets I looked at. Installation was easy once I got everything I needed. If you have a Jeep JK, you need a T50 Torx to remove the factory screws from the hood. Since this is advertised specifically for Jeep JKs, it would be nice if they included that. Also— the bolts that face upward and go through the holes in your jack aren’t long enough to use the piece of metal that goes on top of your jack between the jack and the wing nut. Horrible oversight. I just put the wing nut directly against the jack until I had time to go to home depot. You need 2” long 3/8” carriage bolts. It comes with 1.5” carriage bolts. Lastly— other mounting brackets for different Jeep generations have an extra hole to put a padlock through so people don’t steal your jack. I had to go make cable loops with ferrule sleeves (as pictured) to be able to lock my jack up. All in all, the bracket is sturdy, and it wasn’t hard to install. Hopefully other Jeepers will read this and avoid the couple minor headaches I encountered by getting the other things they need at the same time as this product.

This mount is complete trash you need to find hardware for yourself cause it leave the bolts that hold the jack loose cause it dosent tie itself down to the bracket. The screws aren’t long enough to use the bracket to hold the actual jack to the bracket either…

Got it installed. Missing a few things washers and nuts. Looks sturdy doesnt rattle that i know of havent really driven any where yet.

The carriage bolts stick up with the shoulder protruding through the bracket a bit, so no way to tighten carriage bolt all the way using included hardware. Bought some slightly larger ID washers and they did the trick, holds jack rock solid now. Can be mounted on hood or door.

Bracket was the least expensive that I found that would fit a JK. Quality and finish was better than expected. Everything fit well and was super easy to install - less than 10 minutes with farm jack install. Went overlanding up a moderate trail and the bracket held up extremely well - no rattling and stayed tight. Was able to run a long padlock through jack and one knob to prevent theft Would definitely recommend.
