I really got this to use as a ground trap for nocturnal beetles, but I also have a lot of GITD stuff. I was underwhelmed with the power of this. It did charge the GITD quickly, but also a bit unevenly, especially if you have a number of items in the bag at the same time. They also tended to fade pretty quickly, as has been my experience when using anything but the strongest UV sources (or the sun for a few hours). Basically it's a UV (390) COB strip spiraled around inside a bag with a white interior. Because of the bag's ability to collapse and expand the strip is attached loosely to the interior. I only got about 1/2 hour out of 3 freshly charged AA NiMH batteries; alkalines might do better. Because of the short time it didn't work well in the field to attract beetles. I'll be rewiring the bag to use 18650 batteries. I attached a picture taken after the lights had faded; the batteries had run out of juice during the time I was setting other equipment out.

I wish this was rechargeable but other than that it works great. I use this to charge my glow in the dark cups and it fits many of them at one time. I leave them in there for about 5 minutes and I get a full glow. This is definitely worth it if you need to recharge some things.
